Green tea is one of the most treasured and ancient tea varieties, primarily produced in Japan and China. After harvesting, the leaves are gently treated – steamed in Japan and pan-roasted in China – to prevent oxidation. This preserves their vivid green hue and fresh, invigorating taste.
AVANTCHA green teas are sourced directly from selected organic gardens and stand for purity and freshness. Each variety perfectly balances delicate lightness with complex flavour.
Use approx. 1 teaspoon of tea per 250 ml of water at 75–80 °C. Steep for 2–3 minutes to avoid bitterness and preserve the delicate aroma.
Store green tea airtight, cool, and away from light – ideally in a sealed tin or in the refrigerator. This keeps it aromatic and fresh.
