Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know for a perfect cup, in one place.

What types of Chinese teas does AVANTCHA offer?

AVANTCHA presents a curated collection of authentic Chinese teas from the birthplace of tea. The range includes the famous Long Jing (Dragon Well), refined Green and White teas, fragrant jasmine teas, robust Black teas, and premium Oolong and Pu Erh teas – each reflecting the depth and heritage of Chinese tea culture.

How is Chinese tea from AVANTCHA produced sustainably?

AVANTCHA partners with small tea gardens across China that follow organic or natural farming practices. All teas are pesticide-free, hand-harvested, and individually tested to ensure both purity and sustainability.

How should I brew Chinese Green tea and Oolong correctly?

For Chinese Green tea, use water around 75-80°C and steep for 2–3 minutes. Oolong tea brews best at 90°C for 3–4 minutes. Both teas can be re-infused several times, revealing deeper flavours with each brew.
